On October 19, 2021, the Ormond Beach Observer announced that the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce, Volusia County Schools and CareerSource Flagler Volusia are working together to offer YouScience Discovery to all sixth through twelfth graders starting with the 2021–2022 school year.
The three groups are working together to help align student aptitudes as uncovered by the YouScience Discovery aptitude assessment with the matching education and career options in Discovery. They also intend to benefit local employers by connecting them with ideal future talent and by keeping graduating students in the local area.
